Barrier Air policies during NZ Covid-19 Alert Level Restrictions

New Zealand is currently under the Covid-19 Protection Framework, also known as the traffic lights, due to the current outbreak of the Covid-19 virus. While this is in effect Barrier Air is operating with the capacities and procedures as detailed below.

What to expect at Traffic Light Orange

As per current Ministry of Health guidelines Barrier Air requires the following procedures and protocols to be followed at all times when utilising our services:

• Vaccine passes are not required when checking in.
• Scanning of location QR code is strongly recommended at all Barrier Air check-in counters.
• Masks are mandatory on all flights operated by Barrier Air, from the time passing through the boarding gates until off the premises at the destination.
• All Barrier Air aircraft will be cleaned/disinfected between each flight.
